The Board of Director’s of Cooperative Plus, Inc. has renewed its commitment to its PowerCenter business at a board meeting held on Friday, June 5, 2009. Assuming the City of Burlington follows through with the acquisition of CPI’s property on Dodge Street, CPI will build a new 10,000 square foot facility for the business on its Milwaukee Avenue property in Burlington which presently has a bulk propane storage tank along with other small storage buildings located on it. These facilities will be removed to make way for the new PowerCenter facility. Construction will begin as soon as feasibly possible. The intent is to have the PowerCenter relocated and in operation in its new facility by fall 2009.
